Marty joined the firm in 2011 and became a Partner in January 2017. Her primary responsibilities include corporate and partnership tax preparation. Marty specializes in Financial Forensics, Offer In Compromise and Cost Segregation work.
She provides litigation support for individuals, family law and divorce cases, financial institutions, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and law firms. Described by the Stroud Co. team as a problem solver, Marty says the best part of her job is helping businesses thrive amid challenging circumstances.
Marty holds both a BS in Accounting and a BS in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the AICPA, Forensics Evaluation Services (FES) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Marty loves to travel with her family. She has travelled extensively across Europe but says her favorite vacation spot is Kiawah Island, SC.
